IU Indianapolis Arts and Humanities Institute call for podcast proposals

By IU Indianapolis Today

July 28, 2025

The IU Indianapolis Arts and Humanities Institute invites individual faculty and teams of scholars to submit proposals for podcasts that will showcase the important work being done in the arts, humanities and qualitative social sciences at IU Indianapolis.

Proposals may be for ongoing series, documentary-style narratives, standalone episodes or seasonal runs. Each podcast or series can be individually titled and will be marketed as part of the IAHI Podcast Network — a new initiative to amplify the research, creative work and public engagement by faculty on the IU Indianapolis campus.

Applicants can include collaborators from other institutions to participate. The institute has recording equipment to ensure high-fidelity remote or on-location interviews.

Proposals should include a one-page prospectus outlining the concept and structure of the podcast and a timeline.

Please submit proposals as a PDF attachment to iahi@iu.edu by Sept. 1. The institute aims to launch the first episodes beginning Oct. 1.
