IU Indianapolis faculty and staff are encouraged to honor the hard work and dedication of colleagues by nominating deserving candidates for a faculty or staff award.
“Submitting an award nomination is an easy and meaningful way to recognize the many people across our campus who go above and beyond the call of duty in support of students, peers and the community,” said Heather Staggs, president of the IU Indianapolis staff council.
“We also encourage people to self-nominate. If you do not feel comfortable touting your achievements, think of it as bringing attention to the great work being done in your department or school.”

- Bantz-Petronio Translating Research Into Practice Award.
- Chancellor’s Faculty Award for Excellence in Civic Engagement.

- Charles Bantz Chancellor’s Community Fellowship.
- Glenn W. Irwin Jr., M.D., Experience Excellence Award.
- Glenn W. Irwin Jr., M.D., Research Scholar Award.
