The restaurant in University Tower on the Indiana University Indianapolis campus has a new name, a new look and new menu items.

Chancellor’s is now Jags Crossing. The name change and new athletics-themed décor celebrate school spirit. The menu includes daily specials, and for diners who are in a hurry, a rotating “buzzer beater” meal is guaranteed to be served in under five minutes.

Jags Crossing is also the site of the bi-weekly IU Indy Coaches Show. Produced by ISC Sports Network and hosted by Greg Rakestraw, the show features guest appearances from various IU Indianapolis head coaches and student-athletes. The campus community is invited to attend the tapings to hear insights about the teams, meet coaches and student-athletes, have fun with fellow fans, and enjoy complimentary Jag fries.

The next show has been rescheduled from Nov. 12 to Nov. 19, with women’s basketball head coach Kate Bruce and two women’s basketball student-athletes slated to appear. The show returns Dec. 10 with men’s basketball head coach Ben Howlett and two men’s basketball student-athletes as the scheduled guests.

Jags Crossing is open to all from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Scroll through the photo gallery below for an inside look at some of the menu items and new ambiance.
