The Indiana University Indianapolis Office of Student Employment celebrates student employees who demonstrate outstanding achievement while balancing their academic and professional responsibilities, as well as the faculty and staff who provide exemplary supervision, through annual awards.
Nominations will be accepted through 5 p.m. Feb. 8 for Student Employee of the Year, Graduate Student Employee of the Year and Student Employment Supervisor of the Year.
Self-nominations are not permitted. Letters of nomination for student employees must be submitted by supervisors, colleagues or other IU Indianapolis staff.
All IU Indianapolis student employees are eligible for the student awards. Nominees are evaluated on a range of criteria that highlight the impact of their work, including community service, critical thinking, innovation, leadership, teamwork, professional communication and collaboration.
Full- or part-time faculty or staff who supervise student employees and demonstrate outstanding mentorship, professionalism and leadership in fostering meaningful work experiences for student employees are eligible for the Student Employment Supervisor of the Year award.
Letters of nomination should illustrate how nominees exceed standard expectations, contribute positively to workplace culture and make a lasting impact on the students they supervise.
