Nominations open for undergraduate research awards

The IU Indianapolis Institute for Engaged Learning is accepting nominations through March 11 for student awards that honor excellence in undergraduate research:
- A faculty member, research mentor, department chair or dean can nominate eligible students for the Bowling-Jones-Russo Memorial Undergraduate Research Award.
- Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program research mentors can submit nominations for the Richard E. Ward Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program Recognition Award.
- Nominations for the IU Indianapolis Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Research must be submitted by the student’s dean or dean’s representative.
- Nominations for the IU Indianapolis Undergraduate Outstanding Achievement in the Creative Activity Award can be submitted by a faculty member, department chair or dean.

The Office of Research is accepting nominations for the Galli-Shelton Excellence in Undergraduate Research Award. Any faculty member can nominate an eligible student. Questions about this award can be sent to Jeremy Price at jfprice@iu.edu.
Each recipient will receive a monetary prize and will be honored at the inaugural IU INSPIRE Showcase on April 24.
