IUPUI holiday and winter break hours

The end of the fall semester is Sunday, Dec. 18, and hours across campus offices will be adjusted during the holidays and winter break. IUPUI offices will be closed Dec. 23 to 26 and Dec. 30 to Jan. 2 for the holidays. Classes resume for the spring semester on Jan. 9.

Campus Center

Dec. 19 to 22, Dec. 27 to 29, and Jan. 3 to 5: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Dec. 23 to 26 and Dec. 30 to Jan. 2: Closed

IUPUI Dining

Tower Dining will close at 4 p.m. Dec. 18 and reopen at 7 a.m. Jan. 7.

IUPUI Café

Dec. 19 to 22, Dec. 27 to 29, Jan. 3 to 5: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Dec. 23 to 26, Dec. 30 to Jan. 2: Closed.
Jan. 6: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Jan. 7 and 8: Noon to 5 p.m.

The Market

Dec. 19 to 22, Dec. 27 to 29, Jan. 3 to 6: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dec. 23 to 26, Dec. 30 to Jan. 2, Jan. 7 and 8: Closed.

Chick-fil-A and Panda Express

Dec. 19 to 22, Dec. 27 to 29, Jan. 3 to 6: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dec. 23 to 26, Dec. 30 to Jan. 2, Jan. 7 and 8: Closed.

Pizza Hut, Caribou Coffee and Simply Puur

Dec. 17 to Jan. 8: Closed.

Housing and Residence Life

Ball Hall, University Tower and North Hall will close for winter break. Residents are not required to remove their belongings; however, they will not be able to re-enter their residence hall until after these buildings re-open for spring semester. Residents may move back into the halls at 8 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6.

Riverwalk Apartments and Shared Suite residents may stay during winter break.
Community offices for all facilities will be closed during the break. If you are expecting important packages to ship during that time, please plan accordingly.

If you have an emergency work order or facility issue, please call the RA on duty regardless of the time of day. Students who are locked out during winter break are subject to a $50 lockout fee instead of the standard $15 fee.

Counseling and Psychological Services

Dec. 19 to 22: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Dec. 23 to Jan. 2: Closed.
• CAPS will resume regular hours Jan. 3.

Campus Health, Coleman Hall Clinic

Dec. 19 and 20: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dec. 21: 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Dec. 22, Dec. 27 to 29, Dec. 30 to Jan. 2: 7:30 a.m. to noon.
Dec. 23 to 26, Dec. 30 to Jan. 2: Closed.
Normal hours will resume Jan. 5.

COVID-19 testing

The last collection by the couriers for PCR tests will be at noon Dec. 15. The lab will reopen Jan. 9.

Vending machines at the Campus Center and University Library will be stocked with rapid antigen tests.

Paws’ Pantry

Paws’ Pantry is closed now through Jan. 9. Normal operations will resume Jan. 10. Over winter break, access food pantry resources near you through the Indy Hunger Network.

UITS

Phone, email, and chat support are available 24/7 except on the following dates:

Dec. 24 and 31: 8 a.m. to 4:59 p.m.
Dec. 23, 25 and 30 and Jan. 1: Closed.
Dec. 26 to Dec. 29: Open 8 a.m. Dec. 26 to 11: 59 p.m. Dec. 29
Jan. 2: Regular 24/7 service resumes starting at 8 a.m.

Phone calls during closings will route to the UITS Contact Center.

University Library

Dec. 19 to 22, Dec. 27 to 29, Jan. 3 to 6: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Dec. 23 to 26, Dec. 30 to Jan. 2: Closed.

JagLine

Dec. 19 to 22, Dec. 27 to 29: JagLine operates during regular hours.
Dec. 23 to 26, Dec. 30 to Jan. 2, Jan. 7: No JagLine shuttle service.

The JagLine will also enact changes to the schedule in the new year. Starting Jan. 3, the wait times for the Route 2-Gray and Route 3-Yellow shuttles will increase to 15 minutes. Route 6-Green, will also be discontinued starting Thursday, Dec. 29.

Parking and Transportation Office

Dec. 21: Closed 12:30 to 5 p.m.
Dec. 22: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dec. 23 to Jan. 2: Closed.

Beginning Dec. 19, IUPUI parking permit holders will be able to enjoy additional student garage and surface lot permissions during winter break. All parking permissions will return to normal after Friday, Jan. 6.

Herron Galleries

The galleries will be closed Dec. 18 through Jan. 8.
