August 07, 2025
The Indiana University Board of Trustees approved an operating budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year that included compensation increases for IU employees. Pay adjustments took effect July 1 for staff and faculty paid over 12 months, and on Aug. 1 for faculty paid over 10 months.
All full-time, benefits-eligible staff and faculty can view their total rewards at any time at One.IU.edu. The online total rewards tool reflects the 2025-26 fiscal-year pay for all staff and faculty.
What are total rewards?
The total rewards statement is an up-to-date display of your benefits and compensation package at IU. Your total rewards include your base salary plus annual contributions the university makes for certain benefits on your behalf, according to your base salary. The base salary and benefit contributions comprise your “total rewards” package.
Your statement includes base salary, health and wellness, retirement benefits, and IU tuition benefit.
The university also provides additional resources to enhance your work-life experience not listed in your total rewards notice, including:
- Time-off options.
- Financial wellness resources, such as retirement planning.
- Mental well-being resources and the employee assistance program.
- Access to professional development resources and LinkedIn Learning.
- Work + Life programs available through Healthy IU.
How to view your total rewards
Every full-time, benefits-eligible staff and faculty member can view their total rewards statement online at any time using the total rewards task at One.IU. The information is updated daily and is also available inside the employee center.
