These free, virtual sessions offer practical tools and expert guidance to help employees get more value from their IU benefits and make confident financial decisions — now and in the future.

Road to Financial Wellness

Beginning Jan. 21, the Road to Financial Wellness series is geared toward employees at all ages and career stages who want to build healthier financial habits. The sessions will cover everything from day-to-day money management to learning how to invest, with a focus on real-world situations such as:

• Building a strong financial foundation through budgeting, emergency savings, and managing debt and credit.
• Growing your money with confidence through investing.
• Planning for major life expenses, including the cost of college.
• Using IU benefit plans — such as the health savings account and critical illness insurance — as tools for financial wellness.

These webinars are ideal for employees who want to strengthen their financial foundation, build healthy money habits, and feel more confident managing their IU benefits and finances.

Road to Retirement

The popular Road to Retirement series is also returning this spring, starting Jan. 30. Designed specifically for IU employees, these webinars focus on the financial and benefit decisions that matter most in the years leading up to retirement.

Participants will hear from expert speakers who understand IU’s benefits and policies and can translate complex concepts into clear, practical guidance. Sessions will cover:

• How and when to enroll in Medicare and Social Security.
• How the rules for health savings accounts change after you enroll in Medicare.
• IU retiree status and medical plan options.
• Strategies to maximize your savings in your final years of employment.
• Income options after you retire.
