By Office of School Partnerships

March 25, 2026

The Office of School Partnerships invites faculty and staff from all Indiana University campuses to submit proposals for the IU P-12 Education Summit to be held Sept. 22 at 502 E. Event Centre in Carmel.

The annual event highlights innovative partnerships and programs that strengthen collaboration among higher education, P-12 schools and community stakeholders. Attendees include IU faculty and staff, P-12 school and district leaders, high school counselors, state education officials, industry and workforce partners, community organizations, youth-serving professionals, and education policymakers.

Organizers are accepting proposals for 45-minute concurrent sessions showcasing established practices addressing critical P-12 needs. Session formats, which may be collaborative presentations or panels, should focus on efforts that demonstrate partnerships and coalitions with an active P-12 partner, IU or P-12 student participation, workforce or industry support, or community-based organizations to expand opportunities for youth.

Topics may include partnerships addressing P-12 needs; college and career exploration; processes to align high school and university curriculum; initiatives for the new high school diploma and readiness seals; innovative admissions and student services; youth-serving collaborations; and talent pipeline innovations.

Visit the P-12 Education Summit web page for additional information or to submit a proposal through May 31.
