The Indiana Repertory Theatre and the Center for Ray Bradbury Studies at IUPUI offer several ways to engage in the IRT’s latest production, “Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451.”
The show, adapted by Tobias Andersen from the iconic book, runs through Feb. 20 with streaming on select days only.
Ways to engage include:
IUPUI faculty, staff and students receive $15 off tickets to in-person shows. Visit the IRT website, select an in-person show date and time, and enter promo code BRADBURY at checkout. This promotion is good for in-person shows only through Feb. 18.
Plan to attend a community conversation Feb. 12 following the 4 p.m. performance. Sponsored by Faegre Drinker, the event will feature Jason Aukerman, director with the Center for Ray Bradbury Studies and assistant professor of American studies and English at IUPUI. Aukerman will discuss the man who created sci-fi classics, explore the history of the censorship of the novel, and share what it’s like to curate Bradbury content. IRT resident dramaturg Richard J Roberts will offer production insight. The conversation will be moderated by Allison Barkel, chair of IRT’s Offscript Young Professionals Group Advisory Council.
IUPUI students can enjoy every production in an IRT season for a reduced price. Learn more about the Encore College Card on the IRT’s website.
