By IUPUI Today

August 29, 2022

The fall 2022 IUPUI Chancellor’s Diversity Speaker Series begins in September. The lineup includes a bestselling author, a pioneering advocate for accessibility and a Harvard public health expert. The speakers will take the stage at the Madam Walker Legacy Center to share in community and further our knowledge around diversity, equity and inclusion.

The talks are free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged but not required. Events hosted in the ballroom will include complimentary food.

The series kicks off at 6 p.m. Sept. 7 with Ijeoma Oluo, author of the New York Times bestseller, “So You Want to Talk About Race.” Doors open at 5 p.m.

Faculty, staff, students and members of the community can also support the speaker series by volunteering. Greeters, ushers and other helpers are needed.
