The IU Indianapolis community is invited to cheer on student, faculty and staff veterans as part of a new Veterans Day celebration organized by the Veterans Faculty and Staff Council.

Members of the campus’s veteran community will march on Michigan Street, from the Campus Center to the War Memorial in downtown Indianapolis, to join the city’s Veterans Day Parade.

IU Indianapolis leaders, faculty, staff and students are encouraged to gather outside the Campus Center at 10 a.m. Nov. 11 to honor participants as the march begins.

The campus community is also invited to the annual Veterans Day flag-raising ceremony at 8 a.m. in Taylor Courtyard.
