February Scholar of the Month Conversation

The February speaker for the Center for TRIP Scholar of the Month Conversation Series is Crystal Morton, associate professor of mathematics education in the Department of Urban Teacher Education in the School of Education. Dr. Crystal Morton

She is also the founder and director of Girls STEM Institute, an organization that provides an affirming system of support for girls of color focused on science, engineering, technology and math.

In her Scholar of the Month presentation, Morton will give an overview of the institute, and discuss the ways it has positively impacted the lives of program scholars and their families through a loving and holistic approach.
