Call for workshop proposals for 2025 Staff Development Mini-Conference

The eighth annual Staff Development Mini-Conference will be held April 23 in the Campus Center.
This year’s theme, “Time to Program Your GPS: Growth, Progress, Success,” is about helping staff navigate their personal and professional journeys with clarity, confidence and purpose.
The conference will include engaging 45- to 60-minute workshops that support career development. Proposals are being accepted for workshops that align with the theme’s key focus areas:
- Empowering Career Navigation: Providing tools and strategies for career growth at all levels.
- Inspiring Action and Learning: Delivering impactful, interactive sessions that encourage real-world application.
- Building Skills and Enthusiasm: Offering new skills, networking opportunities and renewed career motivation.
Additional topics of interest include:
- Navigating IU’s evolving work environment.
- Wellness and mental health strategies.
- Mentoring and collaboration.
- Professional skill development.
- Leveraging IU’s tuition benefits and educational opportunities.
