Women’s History Month awards honor faculty, staff, students

Photo provided by the Office for WomenThe 2025 Women’s History Month Recognition Award winners were celebrated at a ceremony and reception in the Campus Center Theater on March 26.

Awards were presented to four students, five staff members and seven faculty members.

The ceremony, an annual event hosted by the Office for Women, celebrates excellence in supporting women’s empowerment, women’s history and inclusive environments. Honorees have demonstrated significant leadership, achievement, advocacy or service at the campus, community, national or international level in these areas.

Dean Tambra Jackson of the IU School of Education in Indianapolis delivered the keynote address, related to the 2025 Women’s History Month theme, “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations.” Closing remarks were made by Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Jay Gladden.
