Military-connected students honored at graduation dinner

Graduating students who are U.S. service members were recognized at a dinner celebration April 18 at the Indiana War Memorial in downtown Indianapolis.

They were honored for their academic achievements and service to our country.

Mark Ippolito, senior lecturer in operations management in the Kelley School of Business, served as faculty speaker. Ippolito completed Air Force ROTC and served nearly four years on active duty as an aerospace munitions officer.

The annual event was hosted by IU Indianapolis Military-Connected Student Services. The unit, formally known as the Office for Veterans and Military Personnel, is a centralized place for military-connected students on the Indianapolis, Columbus and Fort Wayne campuses to find comprehensive resources.
