4 IU Indianapolis students awarded Gilman scholarships

Four Indiana University Indianapolis students have been selected as recipients of the prestigious Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, a nationally competitive award that supports U.S. undergraduate students in pursuing study abroad opportunities around the world.
The selected students, who worked closely with the IU Indianapolis Study Abroad office for expert guidance and support, represent four schools:
- Rohan Tuhan is a senior in the Honors College and the Kelley School of Business, majoring in business supply chain management. He will study abroad in Japan.
- Morgan Leigh Perry is a senior in the Honors College and the School of Science, majoring in environmental science. She will study abroad in Germany and the Netherlands.
- Elizabeth Correa is a senior in the Fairbanks School of Public Health, majoring in health services management. She hopes to study abroad in Norway and Sweden.
- Anneli Salas Olvera is a senior in the School of Liberal Arts, majoring in sociology. She will study abroad in Morocco and Spain.
The Gilman scholarship is one of nine national scholarships supported by the IU Indianapolis Office of Scholar Development. Faculty and staff are encouraged to refer exceptional students to the office by contacting scholar support specialist Shay Mays at smmays@iu.edu.
