The University Library Open Educational Resource Development Grant program is accepting applications from IU Indianapolis faculty and staff through Oct. 27.

The program offers grants ranging from $3,000 to $5,000 in support of the creation or adaptation of teaching and learning materials that are free to use, adapt and share. Open education resources can replace costly textbooks, highlight diverse voices and provide innovative, accessible resources tailored to student needs.

Grant recipients receive financial support and guidance from librarians, instructional designers and accessibility specialists.

Virtual information sessions will be held:

• Noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 16.
• 11 a.m. to noon Oct. 3.
• 2 to 3 p.m. Oct. 13.
