IUPUI officially becomes Indiana University Indianapolis on July 1.

As part of the transition, the website URLs will change to indianapolis.iu.edu. All websites that previously used the iupui.edu domain should be transitioned to this new domain by July 1, with redirects in place to new URLs.

Several prominent standalone websites are also being retired and consolidated into the new main IU Indianapolis website, available at indianapolis.iu.edu. Websites being consolidated include:

• iupui.edu
• admissions.iupui.edu and indianapolis.iu.edu/admissions (This temporary site will be retired, and all of its content will be reorganized and merged seamlessly into the new indianapolis.iu.edu website)
• orientation.iupui.edu
• studentcentral.iupui.edu
• inbursar.iupui.edu
• chancellor.iupui.edu
• fan.iupui.edu
• strategicplan.iupui.edu

Faculty and staff are asked to represent the new campus identity by:

• Updating IUPUI to Indiana University Indianapolis or IU Indianapolis anywhere it is being used, including personal websites, PowerPoint slides, email signatures, etc.
• Updating email addresses on email signatures, contact information pages, business cards, etc., to reflect the domain change from @iupui.edu to @iu.edu.
• Using the IU Indianapolis logo and indianapolis.iu.edu URL in outward facing materials like email signatures, PowerPoint slides, Canvas, etc. Pre-approved department, school and unit marketing lockups are available on the IU brand website.
• Updating any places where an iupui.edu URL is linked.
• Updating LinkedIn profiles from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis to IU Indianapolis as place of employment.
