The Frank J. Welcher Lectureship, presented by the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology in the School of Science at IUPUI, brings the inventor of Lyrica to campus for a talk titled “Drug Discovery: Ingenuity or Serendipity?”

Richard B. Silverman, chemistry professor at Northwestern University, will discuss pharmaceutical discovery at 4 p.m., Nov. 17 in Room 152 of the Informatics and Communications Technology Complex.

The event is open to the public, and participants can attend either in person or via Zoom.
