Bug Fest is Oct. 1

The Hilltop Garden and Nature Center will host the 10th annual Bug Fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1. The event will take place at the center, 2367 E. 10th St.

Attendees will learn all about amazing insects and will also be able to make crafts, participate in bug-themed activities and more. Exhibitors will share and display their knowledge on a variety of “buggy” topics.

Admission is free and so is parking. Hilltop Garden and Nature Center will host a food drive for the Hoosier Hills Food Bank. A canned fruit and/or vegetable donation is appreciated.

Bug Fest is a collaboration between the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation, Monroe County Parks and Recreation, Purdue Extension – Monroe County, The WonderLab Museum of Science, Health and Technology and the Hilltop Garden and Nature Center at Indiana University.
