The Bloomington Faculty Council will host an open house for faculty and student academic appointees from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 24 in State Room East of the Indiana Memorial Union.

The council works through a range of committees focusing on a multitude of issues, including:

  • Educational policies.
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Research affairs.
  • Student academic appointee affairs.

Faculty and SAAs are invited to attend and chat with the council’s executive committee, its members and its committee representatives about any top-of-mind issues affecting their professional lives on the Bloomington campus. Individuals curious about involvement in the council or its standing or elected committees are also welcome to bring questions or ideas.

Bloomington Faculty Council President Cate Reck will offer brief casual remarks around 3 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
