Pride of Indiana: Thank-you messages

Pride of Indiana Pride of Indiana is a regular feature in IU Today where Indiana University faculty and staff can recognize their colleagues for IU-related work they’ve done that goes above and beyond their job duties or responsibilities.

Submit a Pride of Indiana shout-out for a colleague who makes a difference in your department.

IU Bloomington

TIffany Lemons, of Human Resources, whose nominator wrote: “As a senior organization development consultant, Tiffany has been working with IU Libraries all of 2021 as we have reflected on our mission as an organization. Importantly, Tiffany helped lead efforts to make mission writing a participatory exercise for everyone working together at IU Libraries. She has helped us tell each other our stories, and then find the ways these words add up to telling our faculty and students who we are. Community-sourced work such as this results in quite a bit of input, and Tiffany is exceptional at providing clarity and asking the right questions to help process information to find the core ideas. We could not have done this work without her.”

Aaron Fields, of Auxiliary Services, whose nominator wrote: “Aaron is the ultimate team player for Aux Services! Whether it’s rowing in the Regatta or filling in as Jawz, he is willing and ready to help his colleagues and IUPUI shine. He also does a great job with all of our marketing projects. Go Jags!”

Madeline Parker, of the Office of the Registrar, whose nominator wrote: “The Office of the Registrar has monthly birthday celebration meetings that also used to serve as a chance for people who don’t work closely on the same tasks to connect in person at least monthly. Now that these meetings are not being held in person, we thought we were going to struggle to keep the office connected in a fun way. Madeline Parker has gone above and beyond to come up with a fun activity for the office to perform over Zoom for many months in a row now. Between guess-who games, trivia, photo contests, etc., she has given us all something to look forward to every month, even on Fridays at 8 a.m.! Their creativity shines, and the extra effort is appreciated by the whole office.”

IU Fort Wayne

Haley Moon, of the School of Medicine, whose nominator wrote: “Haley Moon has been working for the IU School of Medicine-Fort Wayne going on 13 years. She is so knowledgeable in IT and wonderful to just have to call her. She will jump and come help you out when you need her. I am so happy to call her my colleague and friend though these 13 years. I could see no better person receiving a shout out for a job well done than her. Haley will go above and beyond for the faculty here.”
