Institute for Supervisory Excellence accepting applications

The Institute for Supervisory Excellence is a leadership program designed to support supervisors in managing day-to-day responsibilities and leading others. While completing the program, participants will build upon existing skills and gain new tools and approaches.

Whether you are looking to sharpen your management technique, get a better understanding of how to operate at IUPUI or expand your professional network, this series will provide you with skills and behaviors needed for success.

The Institute for Supervisory Excellence is designed for any IUPUI, IUPUC, IU Fort Wayne or IU School of Medicine faculty or staff in a supervisory role.

The cohort begins in February and runs through December. The focus of this cohort is employee engagement, and each topic will include a content session and a case study. The cohort will be hybrid this year, with most content sessions online and the case studies in person. Topics include the following:

  • CliftonStrengths.
  • Diversity in the University Workplace.
  • Navigating Change.
  • Working with Multiple Generations.
  • Accountability.
  • Appreciation and Gratitude in the Workplace.

The application period for this offering is now open. The deadline to apply is Jan. 18.
