COVID-19 testing options on MLK Day

Due to increased demand and to ensure IU faculty, staff and students have access to as much COVID-19 testing as possible, IU will offer limited COVID-19 testing on some campuses on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 17. All testing will resume as usual on Jan. 18.

Testing options for Monday, Jan. 17, include:

IU Bloomington

  • Symptomatic testing available via drop-off testing. Test kits will be available for pickup at the lower level of the East Garage (150 N. Jordan Ave.) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Kits may be dropped off at any time at the East Garage, at the Student Health Center (door No. 1) or at 800 N. Indiana Ave.
  • Required COVID Check testing for those who are not fully vaccinated, open by appointment from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Gym 171 in the School of Public Health-Bloomington. You will be able to schedule appointments for next week beginning after 6 p.m. Jan. 14.
  • Voluntary asymptomatic testing open by appointment from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Gym 171 in the School of Public Health-Bloomington. You will be able to schedule appointments for next week beginning after 6 p.m. Jan. 14.

IUPUI

  • Symptomatic testing open by appointment from 8 a.m. to noon. To schedule a symptomatic testing appointment, start with IU’s symptom checker.
  • Required COVID Check and voluntary asymptomatic testing will resume Jan. 18 by appointment. You will be able to schedule appointments for next week beginning after 2 p.m. Jan. 14.

IU Kokomo

  • Symptomatic testing available by appointment from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. To schedule a symptomatic testing appointment, start with IU’s symptom checker.
  • Required COVID Check and voluntary asymptomatic testing will resume Jan. 18 by appointment. You will be able to schedule appointments for next week beginning after 2 p.m. Jan. 14.

IU Northwest

  • Symptomatic testing available by appointment from 9 a.m. to noon. To schedule a symptomatic testing appointment, start with IU’s symptom checker.
  • Required COVID Check and voluntary asymptomatic testing will resume Jan. 18 by appointment. You will be able to schedule appointments for next week beginning after 2 p.m. Jan. 14.

IU Southeast

  • Symptomatic testing available by appointment from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. To schedule a symptomatic testing appointment, start with IU’s symptom checker.
  • Required COVID Check and voluntary asymptomatic testing will resume Jan. 18 by appointment. You will be able to schedule appointments for next week beginning after 2 p.m. Jan. 14.
