Pride of Indiana: Thank-you messages

By IU Today

January 20, 2022

Pride of Indiana is a regular feature in IU Today where Indiana University faculty and staff can recognize their colleagues for IU-related work they’ve done that goes above and beyond their job duties or responsibilities.

Submit a Pride of Indiana shout-out for a colleague who makes a difference in your department.

IU Bloomington

Sarah Mostes, of Advancement Events, whose nominator wrote: “Thanks to the University Events team for organizing a lovely inauguration ceremony and celebrations and for being incredible colleagues.”

Lora O’Connor, of Research Systems & Decision Support, whose nominator wrote: A special thank you to Lora O’Connor, who provides extraordinary leadership to the Online Services teams within the IT department in the Office of the Vice President for Research. Although she is approached with many projects and challenges, she is always graceful to clients, respectful and motivating to her staff, and skillfully works to ensure consistently high quality in every one of her responsibilities. Lora is a person whose experience, knowledge and wisdom have given her a well-deserved reputation at IU; thank you, Lora!”

IUPUI

Steve Graunke, Teresa Troke and Rick Morgan of Institutional Research and Decision Support, whose nominator wrote:Our deepest gratitude to Steve Graunke, Teresa Troke and Rick Morgan of Institutional Research and Decision Support for their invaluable assistance to the IUPUI Sustainability team in compiling IUPUI’s THE Impact Rankings report. They went above and beyond to understand our needs and work on a tight timeline to get it done, all with a wonderful can-do attitude and collaborative spirit. The IRDS team is incredibly helpful and understanding, and our unit would not have been able to compile the report without their input. For that, and the many other efforts on campus they support, we are thankful for them!”
