As shared via IU Today in January, the My Voice at IU Staff Engagement Survey is open through midnight on March 8.

IU Human Resources partnered with the Gallup polling organization to launch the staff employee engagement survey. On Tuesday, Feb. 15, eligible staff employees began receiving email invitations from Gallup containing a unique link to the survey. Click the “Take Survey” button in any Gallup email to begin the survey. Those who have completed the survey will no longer receive reminders from Gallup.

All appointed staff employees hired on or before Jan. 1, 2022, are eligible to complete the survey.

What is it?

The My Voice at IU Staff Engagement Survey is quick, confidential and an important opportunity for staff to share feedback about how they feel about working at IU: whether they feel valued, if their contributions matter, and the level of pride they have in their work. 

Why take the survey?

Taking the survey is the essential first step in making changes to enhance the work experience at IU. Survey results help the university and its leadership understand the needs of employees and identify what IU is doing well or where there are opportunities to improve. University-wide, staff and leaders will use the survey results in a collaborative process of discussing topics they see as important and creating plans to improve the work experience.

Why take it now?

This survey provides a snapshot of the IU staff experience at a truly unique time. Feedback from staff about their experience is essential, even more so as IU continues to adapt and learn from the challenges of the past two years. Understanding what is important to staff will allow leaders and staff to take action at the unit level to address topics that matter most.

• The survey is open 24/7, Feb. 15 to March 8, 2022.
• It takes less than 10 minutes to complete.
• Staff may complete it during work hours.
• It is mobile-friendly.
• A link to the survey will also be available at hr.iu.edu/myvoice.
• All data collected is stored by Gallup and is kept strictly confidential.
• Staff who have not completed the survey will receive email reminders from Gallup.
