The IU Office of International Services is set to host the IU International Women’s Day Conference from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 26, in the Hamilton Lugar School atrium. Registration is open, and the conference is free.
This biannual conference aims to empower women through the lens of education, leadership development and social justice. The conference is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend, regardless of gender identity.
For 2022, the conference will focus on the theme of “Women’s Well-Being: Our Strength, Our Stories,” celebrating the strengths and exploring the challenges of women around the world. The one-day program will feature a keynote address from New York City-based journalist, speaker and educator Tianna Faye Soto, as well as presentations and workshops from IU students, faculty and staff.
