In April, Supplier Diversity and IU Purchasing, both part of the IU Office of Procurement Services, launched the new Diverse Supplier Search tool, built using information from the Indiana Department of Administration’s Division of Supplier Diversity.

The tool takes thousands of lines of data and turns them into a searchable list. Simply enter a description of the goods or services you need to purchase, click “Load Results,” and the tool returns a list of Indiana state-certified diverse suppliers for you to review.

This new resource is just one result of the procurement office’s rejuvenation of the Supplier Diversity program at IU. Another addition is the Spotlight on Supplier Diversity video series. These short interviews introduce the IU community to their Supplier Diversity and IU Purchasing partners, in addition to leadership from key IU suppliers.
