September Scholar of the Month conversation
A series of monthly presentations is furthering the IUPUI Center for Translating Research Into Practice’s mission of promoting and broadcasting the important research of IUPUI’s faculty members.
The Center for TRIP Scholar of the Month Conversation Series September speaker is David Wilkerson, associate professor at the Indiana University School of Social Work and an affiliate research scientist with the Regenstrief Institute.
Professor Wilkerson’s research focuses on the use of technology to advance social work practice and education, including ways to improve the delivery of online support as an aspect of psychoeducation. He also works on the delivery of online mental health services through rural public libraries and looks for methods to best infuse digital practice into the social work curriculum.
During the Scholar of the Month conversation, Wilkerson will give a presentation about his work on “Digital Hybrid Psychoeducation: Model Development and Case Demonstration.”
Join the discussion from noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 30 via Zoom. Register on the TRIP Center website.
