Registration open for E.C. Moore Symposium

The E.C. Moore Symposium on Excellence in Teaching brings the Indiana higher education community together to examine teaching excellence and the instructional strategies employed in various disciplines to encourage student learning.
Registration is open for the symposium, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. March 24 at the IUPUI Campus Center.
Dawn Whitehead, vice president of the Office of Global Citizenship for Campus, Community and Careers at the American Association of Colleges and Universities, will deliver the keynote address.
Whitehead will focus on connecting global learning and diversity, equity and inclusion to prepare students for today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.
Crystal Walcott, professor of mathematics education at IUPUC and the 2022 recipient of the IUPUI Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, will deliver a plenary on impacting student outcomes and self-efficacy through transparency in teaching.
The schedule also includes concurrent sessions including interactive presentations, show-and-tell sessions, and TED-like talks.
