Voter resources for 2023 election
Resources are available to help students, staff and faculty prepare for Election Day, Nov. 7.
The deadline to register to vote in the 2023 Indiana general election is Oct. 10. Local elections are on the ballot — mayors and city council members. Voter registration tables will be set up in the Campus Center at 10 a.m. Sept. 21 and 26 and Oct. 2, 5 and 10.
University Library will once again serve as a vote center on Election Day. Anyone registered to vote in Marion County can cast their ballot on the second floor of the library between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Nov. 7.
Many other options are available for voters who live in Marion County but prefer to vote at a different location, voters who do not live in Marion County and people who want to vote before Nov. 7. People registered to vote out of state can also check the options for voting in their home state.
IU permits time off for voting under specified conditions. Employees must seek proper approval before being granted time off with pay to vote.
