Benefits Open Enrollment begins today
By IU Human Resources
October 23, 2023
Benefits Open Enrollment for 2024 is now open. Between today and Nov. 3, benefits-eligible employees can log in to the Employee Center to make their 2024 benefits elections. Employees can also use this opportunity to re-sign the Tobacco-free Affidavit to receive the monthly medical plan premium reduction in 2024.
Make your 2024 benefit elections now
Employees are encouraged to log in over the next two weeks to review current elections. This will ensure that you’re still enrolled in the best plans for you and your family and that your beneficiaries are still up to date.
Do I have to participate in Open Enrollment?
Keep in mind that if you do not complete online enrollment, there are some benefits that will not roll over in 2024:
- Your medical, dental, health savings account (HSA) and supplemental AD&D coverage will continue.
- You will not be enrolled in the new critical illness policy.
- You will not be enrolled in the healthcare or dependent care flexible spending accounts (FSA).
- For employees, you will not receive the monthly tobacco-free premium reduction in 2024.
Where can I learn more?
Employees are encouraged to use the resources on the Open Enrollment website including:
- Enrollment instructions.
- Open Enrollment Guide.
- 2024 plan changes and premiums.
- Webinar registration and on-demand videos.
