Looking to rent a car by the hour or day? Zipcar locations have shifted slightly this year from previous years.
The 13th Street and Fee Lane location had been closed during construction of North Housing. That location is now back online, and it will replace what was formerly the pod located at Eigenmann Hall.
A construction project is scheduled to eliminate the circle drive on Seventh Street across from Ernie Pyle Hall. A new location has been created to compensate in the Atwater surface lot near the School of Optometry on the northwest corner of Atwater and Woodlawn avenues.
The locations at Rose Avenue and Seventh Street and at Campus View Apartment are still available.
Anyone is able to sign for an account and reserve a Zipcar. It is available to anyone ages 18 and older, including international students. Gas and insurance is included in the reservation fee.
