You are part of the Indiana University story.

Did you know that email and other correspondence, meeting minutes, contracts, invoices, receipts, and even photographs are considered official IU records? Some of these items should be retained according to an official IU Records Schedule.

As you work on summer cleaning projects, learn what records your office needs to keep, for how long, and how to properly store or dispose of them in accordance with Policy UA-18.

IU Libraries’ University Archives wants to ensure that our shared stories are saved for the future and to document the legacy of IU’s many programs. Thanks to Amanda Rindler, university records manager, a quick Canvas module is available to guide you through the process.
