The Indiana University Board of Trustees has accepted revisions to the Academic Appointee Responsibilities and Conduct Policy, ACA-33, as the University Faculty Council passed it in the spring.
This policy’s scope governs responsibilities and conduct toward students, applying to all academic appointees at all times, including during periods when the university is not in session, when an appointee is on leave, and throughout the entire year for 10-month appointees.
Campus policies not aligning with the new revisions will need to be updated. Once campuses across the state update their policies to align with ACA-33, then their campus-level policies will apply.
