IU Global is ready to assist faculty with international research, teaching and service with a number of funding programs and resources. Many of the programs support inbound and outbound travel, while grants and other support are also available for faculty contributing to international engagement locally, both through activity on Indiana University campuses and virtually.

The variety of travel grants offered to support faculty activity overseas include individual mobility grants, funding in support of collaboration with IU’s many partner universities, funding for events at the IU Global Gateway offices and more.

Grants that support faculty members in developing international learning experiences for their students include traditional education abroad program development, virtual exchanges and international curriculum development grants. Several other programs and resources promote global competency.

Faculty can also tap into IU’s extensive international network and expertise through Global Connections.

Learn more about IU Global resources and programs at “A Symposium on Global Learning: At Home and Abroad” from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 27 at the IU Indianapolis Campus Center. The event is free to attend and lunch will be provided, but registration is required.
