It may seem like the fall semester just started, but flu season is already approaching. Several of Indiana University’s regional campuses are offering flu shot clinics in October as a preventive measure for faculty, staff and students.

IU Northwest

Indiana Immunization Coalition will be at IU Northwest from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 2 at the Moraine Student Center.

To participate, complete the online form and select “IU Northwest” as the location.

Walk-ins the day of the clinic are welcome, but a parent or guardian consent is required if the student is under 18.

Please bring your insurance cards to the clinic, which accepts and bills all insurance (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid). There is no cost to those without insurance, except for the shingles and adult RSV vaccines, as a co-pay is often required.

IU Fort Wayne

Faculty and staff can get their shot by making an appointment at the Purdue Fort Wayne Center for Healthy Living. Two flu shot clinics will be available for students:

  • 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Student Housing Clubhouse, 4010 W. Housing Drive.
  • 3 to 6 p.m. Oct. 10 in the Classic Ballroom of the Walb Student Union, 2101 E. Coliseum Blvd.

Register for the IU Fort Wayne clinics online.

IU South Bend
