Fly in for Hilltop’s annual Bug Fest

Bug Fest logo This year’s Bug Fest is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 2 at Hilltop Garden and Nature Center, 2367 E 10th St.

Bug Fest is a celebration of insects and their relatives. With activities for all ages, it offers information on insect and spider biology infused with lots of fun.

Come and learn from the experts, enjoy insect crafts and games, insect races, storytelling and more. Find out how pollinators and other insects affect your environment, your garden and public health. Visitors can also wander Hilltop’s many display gardens.

Admission is free, and there is no cost to park.

Bug Fest is a collaboration of Monroe County Parks and Recreation, Bloomington Parks and Recreation, The WonderLab Museum, Purdue Extension-Monroe County, and Hilltop Garden and Nature Center at Indiana University.
