See the scenes from a festive, fun-filled Regatta

  • The IUPUI Regatta, a cornerstone event for campus, returned to the downtown canal and Military Park for a jam-packed day of festivities on Sept. 25.

The 2021 IUPUI Regatta enjoyed a triumphant return with beautiful weather, enthusiastic school spirit and vibrant competition.

After the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted last year’s event, the Indy canal and Military Park were buzzing with excitement and festivities.

Regatta winners

Winning the women’s division with a time of 7:26.01 was Red Blood Cells. The IU School of Nursing team consisted of Sidney Fisher, Abby Cloud, Kaitlyn Schnebly and Emma Ewards.

The FIJI team of Alex LeDonne, Blake Knock, Blake Mersman and Zach Woods won the men’s division with a time of 6:13.01.

Earning first place in the co-ed division was the IU School of Dentistry’s team Whitening Lightening. Hannah Freyman, Tyler Watts, Jake Brush and Misty Bennett had a time of 6:06.29.
