Listening sessions scheduled in IU Bloomington chancellor search

A series of listening sessions have been scheduled as part of the search for an executive vice president and chancellor for the IU Bloomington campus.
The search is being co-chaired by David Daleke, dean of the IU Bloomington Graduate School, vice provost for graduate education and health sciences, and professor of biochemistry and molecular biology in the IU School of Medicine; and Danielle DeSawal, clinical professor of higher education and student affairs in the School of Education and president of the Bloomington Faculty Council. IU has partnered with Isaacson, Miller, an executive search firm, to lead the search efforts for this pivotal role.
As the search moves to the recruitment phase, the search committee wants to learn more about the campus community’s aspirations for IU Bloomington, the characteristics that are most important in an IU Bloomington chancellor, and the areas of focus that IU Bloomington should address moving forward. The upcoming listening sessions — hosted by Isaacson, Miller — will collect that valuable input from the campus community.
Listening sessions will be held in person, and all IU Bloomington faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend one of these events:
