Faculty, staff and students interested in learning more about Indiana University policies — whether currently under review, recently revised or newly approved — can do so through the University Policies Portal.

The portal features a section for policies under review, which are open for 10 business days of public comment before final decisions are made. IU Today regularly spotlights policies under review, and users can also subscribe to email alerts to be notified when new policies are posted for comment.

In addition, the portal includes a full index of university policies and a dedicated tab for new and recently revised policies approved within the past six months.

In September, the University Policy Office launched a comprehensive review of university policies to improve clarity, ensure consistency and strengthen the overall effectiveness of policy governance at IU. The review will be completed in phases, with a target end date of June 1, 2026.
